Railway tickets in Ukraine does not rise – UZ

Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) has announced that it plans to 2017, to raise tariffs for travel in passenger trains, while in November last year, the company announced plans to raise rates twice by 16%. This reports the press service of the UZ.

“The draft financial plan for 2017, which is being prepared for consideration by the company’s Board, there are plans to index tariffs for passenger transportation”, – reported in UZ.

The company was reminded that the fare in trains of distant following remain unchanged from July 2014.

We will remind, earlier the first Deputy Minister of infrastructure of Ukraine, head of Supervisory Board of PJSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” Evgeny Kravtsov said that the change of tariffs for railway transportation in Ukraine should be linked to inflation.

“There is a proposal for the indexation of tariff as the basis to take inflation, the “uz” and from the market participants ‘ arguments do not change every year,” explained Kravtsov.
