After the Second world war, NATO countries had made great efforts to make war, murder has not touched their neighbors and civilians. After all, during this event, Europe has felt what it means mass destruction of cities and millions of dead and wounded people, so the purpose of NATO was to prevent a repeat of that situation again. Instead of large wars in the NATO countries, had conducted campaigns and wars were fought in other parts of the world. Some analysts believe that the number of victims of the cold war in Africa, Asia and Latin America exceeded ten million people, however, this is not shocking or scare citizens of the West, because all of these events took place in other, distant regions of the world. Undoubtedly, it is necessary to say that in most conflicts of the cold war, you can find traces of the involvement of major world powers.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, and, consequently, the end of the cold war, it seemed that in a world dominated by only one power. Changed the rules, established at the end of the Second world war. The most important was the fact that killing and destruction had overtaken the West. The first shock occurred in the former Yugoslavia and later became known as “the conflict in Kosovo and Croatia or Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which ended with the signing of the Dayton accords.
Then, through terrorist operations, “al-Qaeda” (banned in Russia — approx. ed.), rigidity and violence evident in the Western society. So now victims of the terrorist attacks were civilians. First need to mention the events of 11 September 2001, occurred in two major U.S. cities — new York and Washington. Then such incidents happened in London and Madrid, etc. But in addition to these countries, the brutality of the attacks spread to France, Belgium and Germany. It should be emphasized that all the recent terrorist attacks carried out by indigenous citizens of Western countries that gives us the right to say that there is no reason to view terrorism as an element of a particular race or culture.
The story is simple: during the cold war Western countries have cherished in the chest, and subsequently sponsored Islamic radical groups in order to unite and make joint efforts to confront the Soviet Union and communism or the fact that, in their opinion, similar to this mode. Afghanistan here is a Prime example. Western countries are “warmed” the remains of the “Muslim Brothers”, gave them refuge and jobs in Europe and the United States. And in that moment, when the enemy in the Soviet Union disappeared, the “Muslim brotherhood” has a new enemy — the West, where, as we have seen, and begun to be terrorist acts.
Still, terrorist operations were carried out using primitive methods: people who completely despise my life and the lives of others, commit terrorist acts, such as in nice. It’s safe to say that the level of security in the West allows you to make the explosions with suicide bombers, as is happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria and several African countries. Also Western intelligence agencies are working to in any case to prevent a disaster of the magnitude of September 11, 2001. It is possible that someday it will happen, but we hope that neither the West nor in any other country in the world that won’t happen. The question remains: what if the terrorists managed to acquire modern weapons?!
The problem is that Western countries have only partially dealt with the problem of terrorism, refusing to make an effort to find the origins and roots of radical organizations like the “Muslim brotherhood”. Today some Western countries protect members of this organization, therefore, it appears that there is a connection between this group and Western institutions (institutions). Of course, it can be called existentialism, and each side is just ready to adapt and adjust to the other. Because the statement “Muslim brotherhood” in London a week ago under the motto “close together” is the perfect proof of this.
No doubt will be strikes on ISIS (banned in Russia — approx. ed.), as happened with “al-Qaeda”. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has the same fate which met Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Osama bin Laden. However, the disease — the root of the tree, in the group that will remain and continue to create the organization, changing only their names. That is why terrorism will continue to exist, but Western society will reap the fruits of his activities — just as we are. It becomes clear to us that the death of innocent citizens, murder etc. for some Western institutions easier and more preferable than the statement that all this is to blame Hassan al-Banna and Sayyid Qutb (the first founder of the movement “Muslim brotherhood”, the second activist of the radical wing of the organization — approx. ed.).
