The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) have not confirmed the information on resignation of the head of the regulator Valeria Gontareva. This was reported by the press service of the national Bank in response to the query is “Today”.
“The press service has not confirmed the information on resignation of the head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva. As you know, the NBU traditionally the month reports about the upcoming changes in the composition of the Board. Now all members of the NBU Board are working on the plan and have a tight schedule of work”, — reported in national Bank.
Earlier today in the Verkhovna Rada the people’s Deputy from “Blok of Petro Poroshenko” Irina Lutsenko said that Gontareva wrote a letter of resignation. “I believe that the front of the work she has put in, she performed, so I wrote a statement (of resignation. – Ed.). There is such a moment,” – said Lutsenko.
According to her, Gontareva has repeatedly written statement of resignation.
Recall from the end of February in Ukraine the issue being discussed about the alleged Gontareva adopted the decision to submit his resignation from the post of head of the NBU, which is ready to meet the President.
In this earlier Gontareva admitted the possibility of his resignation.
