Poland’s foreign Ministry summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine due to the shelling of the Consulate General in Lutsk

The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine in Warsaw Andrey Deshchitsa has promised to send a note of protest due to the attack on the Consulate General of the country in luck.

This is stated in a statement released by the Consulate statement, the Polish foreign Ministry, reports UNN.

“We confirm that after midnight local time on March 29 this year in the building of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk, an explosion occurred. In connection with this incident no one was hurt. Had only damaged the facade of the Consulate building,” — said in a statement.

As noted, the verification conducted by the Ukrainian service, showed that “the cause of the explosion is firing a grenade launcher”.

“The Ministry of foreign Affairs summoned the Ambassador of Ukraine in Poland. In addition, our representative office in Kiev sent a note of protest to the foreign Ministry of Ukraine”, — added the foreign Ministry of Poland.

“We expect the Ukrainian service will provide effective and enhanced security offices in Ukraine as soon as possible and explain the circumstances of the incident, will detect and detain criminals,” — said the Agency.

We will remind, in the night of March 29, unidentified persons shelled the building of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk. The police do not exclude that shot from the grenade launcher, the projectile exploded inside the building.

In turn, the adviser to the interior Minister Zoryan Shkiryak noted that the attack on the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk, most likely, is provocation of the Russian special services. In his opinion, therefore, Russia is trying to spoil relations between Ukraine and Poland.
