The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a number of citizens who will be called in the spring for military service. This is stated in government resolution No. 185 of March 22.
According to the document, in April-may 2017 in the Armed forces of Ukraine and other military formations in the service of call 14 of 135 citizens, including:
– APU – 9 135 people;
– the National guard – 4 200 people;
– State special transport service – 800.

As reported, the defense Minister called on reserve officers to return to APU.
It was also reported that Ukraine will switch to contract army by 2020.
