The murder of a Russian politician Denis Boronenkov will entail negative consequences for Ukrainian-Russian confrontation. This was written in Facebook political expert, Director of the Ukrainian Institute of policy analysis and management Ruslan Bortnik.
According to him, the murder is political, the purpose of which is to cause social, political reaction, rather than to settle scores with that person.
The expert also mentioned the consequences that can result in murder Boronenkov: “the Escalation of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict (including the blockade, banks, etc.); increased geopolitical dialogue between EU-US-RF by demonizing the Russian leadership; “feeding” the idea of new sanctions against Russia; further destruction of the Normandy format and Minsk dialogue”.
He added that the murder Boronenkov deepens and intensifies the crisis of confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, makes it even less likely its resolution.
As reported today in Kiev in the shooting death of a former member of the Russian state Duma Denis Voronenkov, who took Ukrainian citizenship and testified against fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych.
It is known that the killer Boronenkov was arrested as a result of injuries after a shooting. However, some hours later, he died in hospital from his injuries.
