Specialised anti-corruption prosecutors say the dismissed Chairman of the State fiscal service Roman Nasirov has not handed over the passport of the citizen of Britain, which the suspect denied, as reports “Radio Freedom”.
“Some passports were seized during the search of his apartment. Two foreign passports and a diplomatic passport. In respect of foreign passports of Britain, now he is nandanam. We will insist that Nasirova have an obligation to provide the passport with the prosecution or the relevant competent authorities that have the right to possession of the passport”, – said the head of Department anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office Roman Simkiv.
The Prosecutor said that the information about the presence Nasirov citizenship Hungary checked.
“There is a corresponding request in Hungary on legal assistance to the Ukrainian side on this issue”, – he added.
Previously debarred from the duties of the head of the State fiscal service Roman Nasirov said that the National anti-corruption Bureau took away from him most of the passports, but exactly how much – he doesn’t know.
It was reported that in addition to the passport of citizen of Ukraine, Nasirov also has a British and Hungarian citizenship.
