Ukraine has fulfilled almost all the conditions for receiving macro-economic aid of 600 million euros from the European Union, which Kyiv will receive in the coming weeks. This was stated by the head of the EU delegation Hugues Mingarelli at the business forum in Kiev, reports UNIAN.
He noted that the conditions for the second tranche of Kiev is almost done.
“Ukraine has fulfilled almost all the conditions for the allocation of 600 million Euro macro-financial aid… the disbursement of funds will occur in the coming weeks,” said Mingarelli.
Mingarelli noted that the EU remains committed to the agreements reached during the meeting of Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman and the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, on the allocation of macro-financial assistance in the near future.
Recall, Ukraine a few days ago agreed on the final version of the Memorandum of cooperation with the IMF. As a result, this month the government expects to receive next loan tranche of one billion dollars.
