Transparency International wrote a letter to the NEB on Nasirova

Transparency International has called on the National anti-corruption Bureau to start pre-trial investigation of hiding information about the presence of SFS head of the Roman Nasirov British citizenship in 2012. This is stated in the official letter addressed to the Director of NABU Artem Sytnik, reports.

“Nasirov made a knowingly false information in official documents and subsequently used “fake” to gain admission to the state secret”, – reported in TI.

The organization noted that the actions of the head of the SFS discernible signs of a crime under part 1 St. 366 criminal code of Ukraine “forgery”.

We will remind, Nasirov suspect that in 2015-2016, he caused material damage to the state amounting to about 2 billion UAH.

In the night of March 3 Nasirova suspect handed the government Nasirova was removed from the post of head of GFS for the period of investigation in the case.

On the night of 8 March Nasirova court chose a measure of restraint in form of arrest for 60 days with the alternative of a bail of 100 million hryvnia.

Currently Nasirov is Lukyanovka jail. A hearing on the appeal is scheduled for March 13.
