The day of the birth of Taras Shevchenko this year I decided to celebrate with a large-scale flashmob Global Shevchenko.
The purpose of such action was the desire to honor the memory of the Ukrainian poet. All participants of the flash mob show monuments set around the world and in Ukraine, and at the same time quoting the great poet.
It is noted that in Ukraine established 1384 monuments to Kobzar, 1256 of them – in Ukraine and 128 in 35 countries abroad.
The final chord of the event was the mass reading of Shevchenko’s verse “In the casemates”, which in addition to Kiev, joined people from other cities of Ukraine and even countries.
