According to experts, most “add” in the price of vegetables at the same time, prices for meat and dairy products in the near future will be reduced by a few percent. In addition, since the first of March has risen in price electricity, after a few months can grow by water and gas. The website “Today” found out that and why can rise in the spring in Ukraine.

The cost of cucumbers and tomatoes in early spring will depend on the dollar. “In Ukraine there is no production of early vegetables, the prices are directly dependent on the rate of the national currency. But in may the market will be cucumbers and tomatoes from the Ukrainian greenhouses, supply will grow, but prices still will be high,” – says Eugene Janitor.
Meat in the near future will be cheaper, the main reason is the decline in demand in the market due to lent. This situation will last before the may holidays, after will increase the demand for beef and prices will increase by a few percent.
Orthodox and Greek-Catholics from the beginning of lent (runs until April 13) dramatically changed his diet. Place meat products on the tables took the mushrooms, and seafood. As a result, experts say, prices went up by 30-40%. In February, the mushrooms can be bought in capital supermarkets for 35-40 hryvnia per kilogram, now for 50-55 USD. More expensive also, the greenery imports declined due to a poor harvest in Europe.
At the same time, milk in the spring, believe in the ASTP, to be cheaper. Already, the manufacturer noted a decrease in procurement prices of milk. “Starts the season of great milk. It will drop by 5-7%, but the price of dairy products will change only in April and may, they are cheaper by 4-5%”, – says the expert agricultural markets.
What will happen to the communal spring
In Ukraine rose by 25% electricity. In winter, first 100 kWh of electricity cost the hryvnia Ukrainians at 71.4 (71.4 penny per kWh) each kilowatt cost 1.29 USD. From the first of March the first 100 kWh cost 90 UAH, and every next – 1.68 USD.
In addition, in the near future is expected to rise in cold water. The tariff for water supply expects each company separately. The tariff components one for all: depreciation, salaries, electricity, repairs, taxes, etc. the share of these components at each enterprise is different, it depends on hardware and network status, and the level of wages. In 2017, as stated in the presentation of the national Commission, carrying out state regulation in spheres of power and utilities (NKREKU), on average, for Ukrainians, the cold water will rise by 9%. Kyivvodokanal plans to raise the rate at 16.4 per cent.
“The new rates are approved by local authorities. The rate should correspond to the costs incurred by the company. Should not be social populism,” – said a few weeks ago at a meeting of the national Commission, Deputy mayor Dmitry South-Loving.
One of the reasons for the rise of water – increasing the minimum wage in two times. From the first of January, the salary of Ukrainians must be less 3200 USD. Companies had to revise the payroll, and additional costs to put in new rates. At the same wages, according to the national Commission, the largest item of expenditure. For example, if the Ukrainians have spent on cold water 100 hryvnia, the 38.2 of the hryvnia will be spent on the salaries of employees of the local “Vodokanal” of 27.4 hryvnia will be spent on light (the pumps are powered by electricity) and 21.2 of the hryvnia – for banking services, checking counters, the rest is for repairs, depreciation, and so on.
In the spring it is also possible the gas price hike. The current tariff for natural gas includes the cost of thousand cubic meters of gas – $ 185. Thus, according to the draft budget for 2017, thousands of cubic meters of imported gas will cost $ 245. In addition, the increased and the dollar – buy gas in dollars but sell in UAH. Member of the Supervisory Board of the Institute of energy strategies Yuri Korolchuk’m sure the government will have next year again to increase the price of gas. As calculated ex-the head of Department on public relations of “Naftogaz” Valentin Zemlyansky, gas, according to the formula of the Cabinet, this year will cost 9600 hryvnia per thousand cubic meters (currently 6800 UAH). At the same time, Yuri Korolchuk sure that the economically justified tariff for gas will grow next year at 25-60% (8.5-11 thousand UAH)
Ukrainians will reduce the norms of consumption of heat
From the first of may the Cabinet of Ministers will reduce the social norms of energy consumption for heating, such decision of the government adopted in February. As a result, in the next heating season to pay Ukrainians with subsidy for heating will have more.
The ratio of consumption of gas in Ukraine just a few years was reduced from 11 to 5.5 cubic meters per square meter. The new standard – 5 cubic meters of gas per square meter. Now that the subsidies cover 330 cubic meters heating the apartment with an area of 60 square meters, in the next heating season “utilities discount” will charge only 300 cubic meters. If we continue to burn 330 cubic meters, 30 cubic meters have to pay without subsidies. According to the current rate is still 204 hryvnia.
In the apartment of the same area with Central heating grant will cover instead of 3.28 is only 2.5 Gcal of heat. If you do not reduce consumption, 0,7 Gcal will have to pay without subsidies. In Kiev, this amount of heat will cost about 1411 USD.
By the way, this year, as predicted in the Cabinet, the inflation rate will reach 8.1%, while in 2016, the prices in Ukraine grew by 12.4%. Over the last three years, experts say, the real level of inflation reached 100% – the prices have doubled.
