Waszczykowski called on Russia to withdraw its troops from Donbass and Crimea

The Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski called on Russia to withdraw its troops from Donbas and Crimea. About this Waszczykowski said at a joint press conference with the foreign Ministers of Ukraine and the UK in Kyiv today.

“Despite the problems in the EU, we do not forget about friends and priorities in the field of security,” he said.

“We are here to encourage Moscow to withdraw from Crimea and Donbas,” – said Waszczykowski.

Earlier Witold Waszczykowski said that the removal of Russia from the sanctions now and speeches cannot be. According to the head of Polish diplomacy, the EU is not considering lifting sanctions against Russia, because the Minsk agreements are not implemented.

He noted that the lifting of sanctions by the EU requires full implementation by Russia of the Minsk agreements. “About the lifting of sanctions cannot be considered. Now the “Minsk process” is not implemented, and therefore no reason for the lifting of sanctions is not” – said Waszczykowski.
