The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said on the completion of the Trialogue between the Parliament, European Commission and European Parliament on the introduction of the EU visa regime for Ukrainian citizens.
“I welcome the completion of the Trialogue Parliament-the European Commission and the European Parliament for visa-free regime with the EU”, – wrote the head of the Ukrainian state in the microblog in the social network Twitter on Tuesday evening.

He called it “a formal, but important step towards long-awaited in Ukraine solution.”
“Now the word of the European Parliament and the EU Council,” – said Poroshenko.
As reported, the EU believes that the decision on visa-free regime for Ukraine could only enter into force together with the new mechanism of temporary suspension of such regimes in any country of the world, subject to such regimes.
On 14 February the European Parliament approved the mechanism for the temporary suspension of visa-free regime with third countries.
On 27 February, the EU Council adopted a mechanism for temporary suspension of visa-free regime with third countries.
On 28 February, the European Parliament, the EU Council and the presidency of the EU started negotiations on visa-free regime to Ukraine.
On 10 February the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker said that Ukraine until the summer of this year will receive a visa-free regime with the EU.
