The recognition by the Russian Federation of documents of the unrecognized “Donetsk/Luhansk people’s Republic” Ukraine gives cause for a worthy exit from the Minsk agreements. This was stated by MP from the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Refat Chubarov.
“The recognition by decree of the President of Russian Federation fake documents to entities in the sovereign territory of the Ukrainian state is, from my point of view, the gap with Russia of any of the agreements Minsk,” – said Chubarov.
According to him, Ukraine should put before the international partners, the requirement to withdraw on a clear formula restore its territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders, including the Crimea.
“Putin has given us an opportunity with dignity to get out of the Minsk agreements. This is another opportunity and chance, which have been granted by Putin” – said the MP.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim pristayko said that Russia’s recognition of issued in the occupied Donbas “passports” and other “documents” is the first step to the destruction of the Minsk peace process.
We will remind, on February 18, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the recognition in Russia of the documents issued to citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons residing in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.
In turn, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called Putin’s decree on the recognition of passports and other documents of the so-called “DNR” and “LNR” violate international law and evidence of occupation of this part of Ukraine.
