The government of Ukraine has been instructed to revise and limit the list of goods allowed to be transported through the line of collision in the Donbass. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko at a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of honoring combatants in the territory of other States.
“Yesterday at the meeting I have in the administration, which was attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine, we have agreed again to revise and limit the list of goods allowed to be transported through the line of collision,” – said Poroshenko.
In addition, according to the head of the state, security forces received the order to strengthen the fight against smuggling.
We will remind, the situation with the blockade of Donbass is gaining catastrophic momentum. Recently, the so-called activists blocked another railroad track, jeopardizing the work of a number of thermal power plants, because, in addition to smuggling from the occupied territories supplied coal to Ukrainian enterprises is necessary for passage of the heating season and electricity production.
On 15 February the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the decision on the adoption of emergency measures in the energy sector in connection with the blockade of Donbass.
