Sanctions against Russia should be maintained until full implementation of the Minsk agreements.
This was stated by EU Ambassador in Ukraine Hugh Mingarelli, opening the forum RPR “Priorities of the year of the reform: to accelerate, to ensure consistency”.
“What is happening in the Donbas is not a civil war, like someone trying to speak, and the Russian military aggression against Ukraine. We must do everything possible to maintain the sanctions for what is happening in the Donbas until the Minsk agreements are fully implemented,” – said the EU Ambassador.
Also, according to him, the EU does not recognize the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia, and believes that sanctions on Crimea will continue to operate.
We will remind, in the USA and key European capitals believe that the sanctions policy against Russia should be reconsidered. In the two years of the Minsk agreement, none of the paragraph has not been fulfilled, and not through the fault of Ukraine.
