In Hmelnitsky area employees of the police and the Prosecutor’s office established that officials of one of the United territorial communities of the region assigned 580 thousand hryvnias, allocated for repair of roads. According to law enforcement, government officials and representatives of private enterprises in November-December 2016 signed fictitious acts of the performed works on capital repair of three streets of the district center.
The signed documents are overestimated and the volume and cost of works, which, in fact, was never executed. Militiamen opened criminal proceedings under part 5 of article 191 UK of Ukraine (Assignment, waste of property or taking to them by abuse of official position). The participants of the scheme threatens from seven to 12 years deprivation of will.
