Sleep improves the quality of sex life of women scientists

Scientists said that a sound sleep of at least 7-8 hours a day increases quality of sex life of women.

The study involved almost 94 thousand postmenopausal women. The age of participants ranged from 50 to 79 years, writes with reference to The Hindustan Times.

56% of women were satisfied with their sex lives, 52% had sex with partner during the last year. Scientists have discovered that women with shorter duration of sleep (less than 7-8 hours per day) level of sexual satisfaction was lower.

Seniors, sleeping less than 7-8 hours, less sexually active compared to younger participants. Women over 70 years who slept less than 5 hours, up to 30% less were sexually active than those who slept 7 to 8 hours.
