Russia banned deliveries of beef from Belarus

Russia banned the supply of beef and offal from the Minsk region of Belarus from February 6, after the next deterioration of relations between the two countries. About it reports “TASS”.

The ban imposed in connection with allegations that the meat is decorated as originating from this region, in fact, was made Europe and Ukraine and then exported to Russia with Belarusian.

We will remind, in August 2014 Russia banned imports from countries that have imposed sanctions against it in connection with the annexation of Crimea and support of fighters on Donbass.

As reported, February 1, Russia has restored control of the border with Belarus in response to bezviz for the EU and the USA. The Director of FSB of Russia Alexander Bortnikov instructed to set the border zone in the border regions – Smolensk, Bryansk and Pskov regions.

In response, the Belarussian foreign Ministry called the move a violation of the agreements.
