The President of the United States Donald trump assured the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko that he will not leave the Ukraine and that sanctions against Russia will remain in force, until Ukraine will be safe. According to the publication Politico, a promise trump made during a meeting with the leader of the faction “Batkivshchyna” on Thursday backstage at the annual National prayer meeting in Washington, D.C. reported by “news of Donbass”.
According to the newspaper The Washington Post, Friday night in the administration trump confirmed his meeting with Tymoshenko and said that it was of an informal character. It is noted that no official guarantee was not, but in the United States concerned about violence in Eastern Ukraine. “The President and the former Prime Minister had a short informal meeting when photographing at a reception before the National prayer Breakfast. Although no formal assurances were not given, as the former Prime Minister is not the vis-a-vis the President, the United States is concerned about the violence in the East of Ukraine”, – stated in the message of the White house.
In the edition of the Washington Post said, citing members of the delegation of the “Batkivschyna” that the President trump Tymoshenko assured the preservation of sanctions against Russia.
