Second place in this ranking is the Toyota RAV4 – 723 988 thousand units of cars sold in the world market over the past year, and the top three rounded out Hyundai Tucson – 639 53 thousand cars.
The ten best-selling cars of SUV segment in the world in 2016-the year also included the following models of crossovers and SUV: Haval H6, Volkswagen Tiguan, Kia Sportage, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan X-Trail, Nissan Roque and the Ford Escape.
