The national Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on January 26, took of JSC “Fortuna-Bank” insolvent. This reports the press service of the regulator.
“The results of the diagnostic examination of the Bank conducted in the first half of 2016, in July, was approved by the necessary volume of the capital increase. … For 2016 guide and the owner of a substantial part of the Bank has taken steps to meet the requirements for capitalization. … However, measures of capitalization was not sufficient to ensure a positive value in the regulatory capital as of 1 January 2017”, – said the NBU.
The national Bank notes that 91% (2 167 persons) all depositors of JSC “Fortuna-Bank” will receive their deposits in full, as their size does not exceed guaranteed by the guarantee Fund of individuals ‘ deposits the amount of 200 thousand UAH.
“Customers with large volumes of deposits will get them within the amount guaranteed by the Fund. The Fund will provide payment of the guaranteed amount of deposits in the amount of about 96 million UAH”, – noted in the NBU.
Recall that 2016 was for the banking system of Ukraine is a serious challenge. The list of operating banks declined by a couple of dozen, and “healthy” financial institutions in the country is now less than a hundred.
