In Sofia took place the inauguration of the 5th President of Bulgaria rumen Radeva, who is known for his Pro-Russian stance, reports UNN, citing the Bulgarian News Agency.

The ceremony took place in the square of St. Alexander Nevsky.

“Today’s ceremony has a deep meaning: hope for the change that awaits us all. I want to thank the President Plevneliev and all the presidents before him, for their efforts to build a democratic Bulgaria,” said Radev during the ceremony.

He also said that he would work with the partners Bulgaria to intensify European integration, but at the same time will “defend the rights and dignity of his people.”

We will remind, the candidate from Socialist party General Radev won the elections of the President of Bulgaria in November 2016.
