The candidate for the post of US Ambassador to the UN, Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley has stated that the US can’t trust Russia and I can not agree with the occupation in the East of Ukraine and annexation of Crimea. She said this during the hearings in U.S. Senate Committee on foreign Affairs about the approval of her candidacy, reports ABCnews.
“I don’t think we can trust them,” said Haley about the Russian leaders.
“Russia is trying to show his strength right now, that’s what they’re doing,” she added.
Hayley also believes that Russia has committed war crimes in Syria, when indiscriminately bombed hospital in Aleppo.
According to her, the USA cannot agree with what is happening in the East of Ukraine and Crimea.
“We need to let them know that this is not normal – what happened in Ukraine, in Crimea and is happening in Syria, and we also tell them that we need their help in the fight against ISIS and other threats,” she said.
Haley earlier said that the Administration elected President of the USA of Donald trump after his inauguration is going to plan policy in relation to Russia.
We will remind that on November 23, 2016 US President-elect Donald trump suggested Nikki Haley to take the post of U.S. Permanent representative to the UN.
