Biden in Davos, called for support for Ukraine in dealing with Russia

Vice-President of the USA Joseph Biden urged the international community to help Ukraine in fight against Russian aggression. He said this during a speech at the world economic forum in Davos (Switzerland), reports NewsOne.

He appealed to world leaders to assist Ukraine in its European aspirations, which hinders Russia.

“We must continue to support Ukraine, which is resisting Russian aggression and goes on its European course,” – said Biden

Biden stressed that the United States remains an ally to all partners NATO: “an attack on one is an attack on all”.

American politician considers the principle of territorial integrity is one of the basic norms of international relations.

As reported, Joe Biden at Davos accused Russia and several other States in seeking to undermine the liberal international order. He also pointed to the importance of NATO in connection with Russia’s actions.

Also during Biden’s visit to Kiev he declared that the United States together with its partners – the EU and the “Big seven” – given to understand that sanctions against Russia should continue until Russia complied with its obligations under the Minsk agreements, and until the return of Crimea to Ukraine.
