The investigator WADA: “In Russia regularly do not observe ethical standards”

Independent expert of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) Richard McLaren stated that Russia’s efforts to combat doping have lost credibility. Also 71-year-old Professor added that, despite sincere intentions, Russia has not always observe the rules of fair play.

“Russia’s intentions in the fight against doping is absolutely sincere, – quotes The Globe and Mail in the words of McLaren. But these intentions do not trust. Ethical standards? They are in Russia, but they also do not regularly observe them.”

The investigator WADA Richard McLaren presented December 9 the second part of his report on the mass doping in Russian sport. It argues that the manipulation of prohibited substances starting in 2012, was involved more than a thousand Russian athletes from 30 sports.
