Beijing has sent warships to disputed areas of the East China sea

The Chinese coast guard sent three patrol boats in the waters of the Diaoyu Islands (Senkaku Islands) in the East China sea, which is the object of territorial disputes between Beijing and Tokyo. This was reported on the website of the State Oceanographic control of China.

As noted in the statement of the Ministry, the patrol of the archipelago, which Beijing considers as its produced on a regular basis.

Territorial disputes over Diaoyu Islands between China and Japan escalated after September 2012 Tokyo unilaterally announced the purchase of the Islands from private owners. Then in China there were mass anti-Japanese demonstrations, accompanied by pogroms.

Ships of the PRC from time to time appear near the archipelago, occasionally making demonstrative approaches in the coastal zone. Every time such actions result in a negative reaction of the foreign Ministry and other government agencies of Japan.

Earlier it was reported that China brought in a disputed area of the South China sea, the aircraft carrier and five warships.
