The security service of Ukraine initiated the prohibition of entry to Ukraine of the candidate for the President of France and leader of the party “national front” marine Le Pen.
This was stated by the head of office of the Chairman of the SBU Oleksandr Tkachuk, the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.
“January 3, SBU sent a letter to the foreign Ministry. I think that maybe even today will be a positive response and our initiative will be supported, that MS Le Pen it is necessary to prohibit entry into the territory of our state,” said Tkachuk.
He added that the statement by Le Pen about the Crimea should have consequences, but the politician is not representative of the official authorities of the French Republic.
“This is unfortunately not the first case when foreign politicians allow themselves to specific actions or statements that, in our opinion, is contrary to the interests of our state,” said Tkachuk.
As reported, the leader of the French far right presidential candidate marine Le Pen said that the annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea by Russia was “not illegal”.
