The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated the New Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia and occupied Crimea. About this on his page in Facebook wrote a former prisoner of the Russian Federation Gennady Afanasiev.
The President joined the new year’s marathon of writing letters to the citizens of Ukraine.
“Today, when you are cut off from family and friends, would like to bring you into the New year with a strong belief in the power of unity that knows no boundaries or obstacles. Your fellow citizens – are morally with you, next. For you going through the whole country,” – said Petro Poroshenko.
Currently in custody of the Kremlin for political reasons is at least 44 citizens of Ukraine. Detailed instructions for writing letters and ‘ are on the campaign website.
