In Berlin arrested a suspect in the attack on the Christmas fair

The Berlin police arrested 26-year-old Tunisian, who is suspected of involvement in the attack on the Christmas fair on December 19.

According to the representative of Prosecutor’s office of Germany, the detainee was familiar with the main suspect and the main perpetrator of the attack Anis Amri, and the day before they dined together at one of the restaurants of Berlin, reports the Russian service Bi-Bi-si.

It is reported that the house the detainee was searched. His name do not call the authorities.

19 December in Berlin, a truck crashed into a Christmas market. In result, 12 people were killed, another 49 were injured, including heavy.

Responsibility for attack was assumed by the terrorist group “Islamic state”.

23 Dec Milan police shot and killed a Tunisian Amri, identity card which was found in the cab of the truck. His fingerprints were identical to those found on the steering wheel.

As reported, on December 28, the Berlin police arrested 40-year-old Tunisian national suspected of involvement in the attack at the fair, but the next day was released.
