For 2016 Ukraine, killing 211 of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his visit to Donetsk oblast to the border guards.
“Only in the course of this year, 211 members of the Armed forces of Ukraine gave their lives for peace, freedom of our state, protecting it from the aggressor. Bow our heads in memory of the soldiers and officers who died for Ukraine”, – said the President of Ukraine and announced a minute of silence.
Recall, Poroshenko has instructed defense Minister Stepan Poltorak to raise surcharges to the Ukrainian military personnelwhich are on the first and second lines.
