State Committee for television and radio broadcasting published a list of the works submitted for the award of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine named after Lesya Ukrainka for literary works for children and youth for the year 2016. About it reports a press-service of the state Committee.
So, in the category “Literary works for children and youth” are 18 books, including prose and poetical works of Ivan Andrusyak, Lesya Voronina, Anna Tubac and Tatiana Board etc.
For the award in the nomination “the decoration of books for children and youth” 19 nominated books in the design artists Irina Potapova, Natalia Chernysheva, Julia Pylypchatyne, Cornelia, Kalyagin, Arsene Genkingen and others.
In the nomination “Theatrical performances for children and youth” will compete with three performances Cherkasy academic puppet theater and one performance of Khmelnytskyi regional academic music and drama theatre named after Mikhail Staritskogo.
The film “Trumpeter” of the film “Ukrchina” and the animated feature film “the boogeyman” film Studio of animated films “Ukranimafilm” will compete for the award in the category “Films for children and youth”.
We will remind, the prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine named after Lesya Ukrainka for literary works for children and young people is awarded annually, since 2004, the birthday of Lesya Ukrainka – 25 Feb. The prize is awarded in four categories in the amount of 10 thousand UAH each.
