The fraction of party “Voice”, most likely, will not support the dismissal of the NBU Governor Yakov Smoliy. This opinion was expressed in comments to the website “Today” member of the faction of ex-Deputy economic development Minister Yulia Klimenko.
“We will discuss this in the faction before an extraordinary meeting. But in General I can say that we are opposed to at this time to carry out such reshuffles. The country is not the best situation in the country’s economic problems, “a hole in the budget.” To shuffle shots in such conditions is illogical,” she said.

According to Yulia Klimenko, “sudden replacement of the head of the NBU will lead to loosening of the financial situation, which is unacceptable”.
“Look, a year has already begun to stagger, because investors have suspended operations. No questions, if a person wants to leave. But let’s look for the candidates (to replace), to offer, to consider. At least to ensure stability. But in General, I am personally against personnel changes at this time,” said the MP.
As reported “Today”, the current head of the NBU wrote a resignation letter in which he complained of political pressure, but did not elaborate on what exactly it. At the same time, the Board of the national Bank urged the President of Ukraine, the government and lawmakers allow the Bank to perform its functions. Later Smoliy said that he had in mind under political pressure.
In turn, MP from “Servants of the people” Irina Vereschuk told about the position of her faction voting. She is sure that the dismissal of an official will be supported.
