Testing for antibodies can begin as soon as next week
Ukraine has made a record number of PCR tests for the coronavirus, the authorities are preparing to launch mass antibody testing COVID-19. About it reports a press-service of the President’s Office.
Reportedly, the traditional meeting under the chairmanship of President Vladimir Zelensky to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that his Department is prepared to approve the algorithm for mass ELISA diagnostics for the detection of antibodies to COVID-19.

According to the Minister of health, if everything will happen according to the plans, testing for antibodies may begin as early as next week.
Previously, Maxim Stepanov said that the EN masse to carry out ELISA testing for coronavirus will be possible only after full confidence in the reliability of such studies.
He also said that ELISA tests can determine if a person’s immunity to the disease. At the same time, the PCR test shows if he is sick COVID-19.
