“I very much hope that next year we will be able to welcome Ukraine as Ryanair and EasyJet, Eurowings. Because it’s not just cheap flights for Ukrainians, but also to attract tourists to the country”, – said the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure at the meeting with the European business Association.
Asked to clarify whether it is about specific negotiation with these companies in Ukraine to 2018, Omeljan said, I am not going to comment.”
At the same time, he stressed that he was confident that Ryanair planned start of work in Ukraine from September this year fell through because of a conflict with the airport “Borispol”, next year’s will begin flights to the country. “Ryanair: realistic (time) in 2018.
