In the Kherson region started the first solar power plant of DTEK. Annually it can produce 12 million kilowatts of electricity per hour. This is enough to provide electricity to 15 surrounding villages. Built the station in record time – five months. It generates “green” energy and releases it into the power system of Ukraine. The new SES – will not only help solve the problems with interruptions of electricity, but also join the local budget – the company will pay taxes here and create new jobs.
“We come with the energy to where it is needed. This station three days had 90 thousand kilowatt hours, it is, in fact, providing a few dozen families with electricity. Always the goal that we keep at home – it can be part of the energy strategy of Ukraine, in which the development of renewable energy is one of priorities,” said Victoria Salomatova, Director of renewable energy business DTEK.
