While in the foreign intelligence service working professionals, the level of protection of Ukraine was large and also had information from Russia via Ukraine. This was stated in interview to TV channel “112 Ukraine”, the former head of the foreign intelligence Service of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh.
According to him, in different periods of Ukraine had a powerful intelligence capabilities in Russia.
“Periodically we have had powerful capabilities, and Russia, and third countries on the basis of what the company was working high-level professionals, primarily, the Chairpersons, Deputy Chairpersons and heads of departments. Accordingly, it has developed a concept for Russia’s penetration of their political, defensive structure and definition of geopolitics in Ukraine. That is, when the head of the leaders who had a high level of professionalism, was not engaged by the political leadership of both internal and external, which was focused on Russia, then, accordingly, the level of protection of Ukraine. We have not lost the Crimea, we did not allow, in time of war, we have not made explicit the priorities of Russia against Ukraine”, – said Malomuzh.
He noted that the intelligence work was practically discontinued during the presidency of Yanukovych, who scored in the outside exploration Amateurs.
“At that time, we worked out the whole model, and human intelligence and technical intelligence, and effectively controlled the situation in Russia. All the plans in the Crimea, all the ideas of confrontation, especially during the events in Georgia, when we stood on the brink of war and warned, respectively, were impaired. We have a position of intelligence to keep a constant depth on any country, and especially in Russia”, – said the ex-scout.
As told Mykola Malomuzh, after the deterioration in Avdeyevka, Russia will increase the tension on other fronts in the Donbass, in order to exert political pressure on Ukraine and force them to make concessions.
