The project allows high school students to pass free training on the basics of developing applications for the Android operating system. The purpose of the Memorandum is to expand the geography of the project in the following academic year, providing access to training even more students in other cities of Ukraine.
Samsung has failed in Ukraine the results of the social initiative “IT-school Samsung” and extend the previously signed Memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine and the Institute of modernization of content of education in the 2017-2019 school year. The purpose of the Memorandum is to expand the geography of the project “IT school Samsung” and, thus, to provide access to free training in the basics of developing applications for Android has a greater number of high school students.
The project has caused a wide resonance among students of Kiev. In order to participate in the project, it was necessary to successfully pass a placement test. This year it was attended by about 200 students in grades 7-11. Certificates of successful completion of training of the project “IT school Samsung” has already received 22 graduate 2016-2017 school year. Students not only learned the theoretical fundamentals of programming, but also developed its own products!
Eleven of them were invited to personally submit the applications developed during the event, the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine. It should be noted that the developed application was a high level of performance and a variety of assignments and genres: games, educational programs, converters variables, etc. Guests of the event were able to test apps on smartphones and tablets, as well as to ask questions to young developers.

The program of the project “IT school Samsung” is designed for one academic year which consists of 6 main modules. It includes the basics of programming in the Java language and object-oriented programming in Java for Android basics of information security, introduction to database management system on the example of SQLite, as well as the introduction of the World Wide Web.
The results of the project “IT school Samsung” allow you to be proud of talented and enterprising Ukrainian students, who are already creating high-quality software product.
