In financing of the Ukrainian army of 1 billion 600 million hryvnias will be spent on purchase of modern weapons and military equipment. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, reports the press service of the head of state.
“Including the production of new armored vehicles, including tanks “Oplot”, launched production of new missiles and other items that will allow us to significantly improve and enhance the capabilities of our defense,” – said Poroshenko.

In addition, the President set a task to strengthen electronic warfare systems, system latest upgraded unmanned aerial vehicles, as part of the funding to send antisnaypersky complexes, because subversive groups today pose a serious danger to the defenders of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“I am confident that these funds should be allocated now because it greatly increases the effectiveness of the operations divisions, including those located on the line of contact. De facto we will have the opportunity to see, hear, and to counter Russian aggression”, – concluded the head of state.
We will remind, Poroshenko also said that Ukraine will introduce biometric controls for foreign citizens when entering the territory of Ukraine.
