Natural gas production in Ukraine in January-April 2017 increased by 1.2% (82.6 million cubic meters) compared with the same period of 2016 to 6 billion 799,1 million cubic m. About it have informed in the Ministry of energy and coal industry.
At the same time, oil production in Ukraine in January-April 2017 fell by 4.7% (by 25.33 million tons) compared to the same period of 2016 to 508,61 thousand tons.
The Ministry of energy and coal industry said that gas condensate production for the period increased by 6.9% (was 14.27 million tons) – up to 221,49 thousand tons.
As reported, Ukraine in 2016 gas production increased by 0.5% (91,1 million cubic meters) compared to 2015 year – on-year to 19 billion 987,1 mln cubic meters.
Also, Ukraine in 2016 has reduced oil production by 11.6% (208.9 m tonnes), compared to 2015 year – up to 1 million 596,7 thousand tons, gas condensate by 2.5% (16.1 million tons), up to 640 thousand tons.
We will remind, Ukraine has drastically increased gas imports from Hungary.
