January 25, Kremlin-controlled Kyiv district court refused to extend the measure Suleymanov, since the jurisdiction of the case belongs to the Supreme court of the Crimea.
The consequence has been to submit the application for the extension of arrest for seven days prior to the deadline on January 30.
“At the time they were two days late. In fact, the investigators were left with only one possibility to legally keep Suleymanova under arrest to appeal the decision of the Kiev court and seek its repeal. The lawyer Suleymanov does not prevent this, Kubedinova was arrested for 10 days. And immediately, the Kyiv court extended the arrest Suleymanov, for a month,” – said the journalist of the edition.
Instead of the arrested lawyer Emile Kubedinova was present at the hearing appointed attorney.
