The upcoming meeting of presidents of Russia and USA Vladimir Putin and Donald trump need two countries for external effect and sensations, and to achieve concrete results. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on air of TV channel “the World”, writes TASS.
“We need you to meet us and the Americans, as I understand it, not to impress anyone, you external effect and say, “Well, here’s the scoop, say so long, and finally it took place”, – said the Minister, answering a question about expectations of Moscow of a possible Russian-American summit. “We and our American colleagues are convinced that when leaders meet, it is important not only to shake hands and hear what everyone thinks about the relationship with each other about international issues”, – he stressed.
“Russia and the United States so strongly affect international stability and security that such meetings are, of course, will have to wait for concrete results. And below that were the case, it should be well prepared, and we are now working on it,” Lavrov confirmed.
