Two teenagers, thirteen and fourteen were victims of the avalanche in the Western part of Romania. It is reported TASS with reference to the Agency Associated Press (AP).
According to him, the avalanche occurred on April 22, in the mountains Retezat national Park. The head of emergency services Raed Arafat told the AP that the bodies of teenagers were recovered from under the snow, the three other band members were not injured. “They came under an avalanche, unfortunately, to rescue them was impossible”, – he added.
Arafat also said that local authorities had been warned of the high risk of avalanche.
