President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko met in Malta during the working visit with the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrei Plenkovic, with whom he discussed the peaceful reintegration of the occupied territories, which was successfully held in Croatia, the press service of the head of state.
The head of state expressed gratitude for consistent political support for Croatia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, an important humanitarian assistance to our country, active support of the European integration.
The President also noted the unique experience of Croats in the peaceful reintegration of the occupied territories during the war in the Balkans.
During the meeting the sides discussed issues of strengthening of intergovernmental Ukrainian-Croatian Commission on trade-economic cooperation, prospects of implementation of joint bilateral and multilateral projects in the energy sector.
Poroshenko thanked Plenkovich for the active support of Croatia as soon as possible visa-free regime for Ukrainian citizens.
We will remind, today the President also met with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
