SOE “Plant them. Malyshev” (Kharkov), on the basis of the work in 2016 has significantly increased its production volumes compared to the year 2015. About it reports a press-service of the tank factory.
According to the report, in 2016, the growth of commodity production enterprise “Plant them. Malysheva” made 319,3% compared with year 2015, the income from sales increased by 178%. This is the best indicator of work of the enterprise in the last five years, said the press service.
According to the report, a significant growth of GP “Zavod im. Malysheva” ensured full capacity utilization.
“More than a dozen existing only to date contracts ensure smooth operation of the plant, reliably ensuring a successful tomorrow”, – emphasizes a press-service.
For today the leading Ukrainian tank plant has already signed, as well as preparing new multi-million dollar contracts – both in the continuation of the already-implemented cooperation, and under the new arrangements with new counterparties, the report says.
The plant. Malysheva – known in the world Ukrainian manufacturer of armored vehicles, from January 2011 by the decision of the government of Ukraine is part of the state concern “Ukroboronprom”.
Among the major partners of the plant in recent years – China, Iraq, Egypt, Thailand, Pakistan, which remains one of the most promising partners of Ukraine’s military-technical cooperation in the region.
In the framework of the signed in 1996 a contract valued approximately 650 US dollars, Ukraine has supplied to Pakistan of 320 T-80UD tanks. Since 2001, Ukraine is cooperating with Pakistan and China in the project of the Pakistani MBT Al-Khalid: then was signed the first contract for the supply of MTO on the basis of the engine 6TD-2 to collect at the facilities in Taxila and having good export potential of the Pakistani MBT.
Currently, Ukrainian specialists have already mastered the new generation engine 6TD-3 with a capacity of 1,500 HP, which can compete with the developments of the global manufacturers.
In November 2016 the state company “Ukrspecexport” signed with Pakistan Taxila Heavy Indusrries and Cheap protocols on cooperation in the field of modernization of armored vehicles of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
According to the Ukrainian side, plans to expand cooperation include for Pakistani customer overhaul previously supplied by Ukraine to Pakistan T-80UD tanks, and new delivery logistics for the Pakistani MBT Al-Khalid in the amount of 110 PCs.
