The epidemic coronavirus infection continues to gain momentum in Ukraine. For the past day, July 29, COVID-19 was confirmed at 1197 of our citizens. This is an absolute record for the number of infected since the epidemic began.
As is indicated by the data of the NSDC, just the coronavirus was diagnosed in 68 794 Ukrainians. The disease has claimed the lives of 1673 cases (23 last night). And 38 154 infected managed to recover (760 for the last day).
“Today another record – the number of patients per day have not been yet. A very large number of people who were hospitalized here also a kind of record,” – said during a briefing the Minister of health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov.
He noted that for last days in the country spent 31 699 tests, including 15 494 PCR and 16 205 IFA tests. The largest number of cases per day for the time of the epidemic was in Kiev (+199). This is due to flash COVID-19 in one of the hostels of the CRPD. On the second place in Lviv region (+131), followed by Rivne (+105) and Ivano-Frankivsk (+104). In two regions – Kherson and Luhansk – new cases not identified.
