The Ministry of health has an online briefing on the situation with coronavirus in Ukraine. The head of Department Maxim Stepanov will report the latest data.
We will remind, as of morning July 16 in Ukraine there were 848 new laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus infections, deaths – 18. Wednesday recovered 800 people. The greatest number infected per day identified in the Lviv region – 197.
Note that now the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Donetsk, Transcarpathian, Kharkiv, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv oblasts and Kyiv did not meet the criteria of the weakening of quarantine restrictions. In these regions there is a problem with testing rates per 100 thousand inhabitants, occupancy rate beds in hospitals, dynamics of morbidity in comparison with the previous week. We also learned that the quarantine will be extended again and Ukraine will be divided into four zones.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of health was excluded from the Protocol treatment of critically ill patients COVID-19 antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine. However, it can still apply for patients of moderate severity. It also became known that India gave Ukraine a new drug COVID-19.
