The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, who is with working visit in Odessa, on Sunday, July 5, took part in the celebrations for the Day of naval forces of Ukraine and was awarded the military.
During the ceremony Zelensky said that one of the main problems in Ukraine is the welfare of the sailors and their families. He also said that the sailors today get more than 70 apartments. Among them there are Ukrainian soldiers from the Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.
“I am ashamed that all this time they have not received from the state worthy of gratitude,” said Zelensky.
