Actual (Bulgaria): on Russia, our alphabet and the truth

On the eve of the may 24 show in front of the entrance to the Russian cultural and information center in Sofia, trace the history of our literature, has completely ignored the fact that the Bulgarians for centuries played an important role in education. Thus, Russia has officially crossed Bulgaria from the history of writing created by the Holy brothers Cyril and Methodius — this is evident from the exhibition before entering the Russian cultural and information center dedicated on may 24. The manuscripts trace the history of our literature, placed on a dozen panels, but nowhere in them does not mention the decisive contribution of our country! The truly scandalous fact!

Russian instead of thanking us, still hiding and even denying the role and importance of the Bulgarians in their baptism and in their creation of literature. President Putin even challenged us, publicly saying the alphabet by the brothers Cyril and Methodius came from… Macedonia. They even tried to assign the Cyrillic alphabet and make it their own alphabet. To make the world consider Russian. Obrusit and “Princess of Pliska”, our granddaughter of Prince Boris I the Baptist and the niece of Tsar Simeon Helena (Olga), wife of the Varangian Prince Igor, which laid the Foundation of Kievan Rus.

After his early death, “Bulgarina” as it was called, forty years with an iron hand ruled the young Principality, and with a whip drove the men into the river to baptize them. For great achievements in the early baptism Russian Bulgarian Olga was canonized as a Saint of their. In the frozen North, she founded the urban strongholds of Orthodoxy Pskov (Plyskiv), Pereyaslavl (Preslav) and Rylsk, named after our national Saint and patron of St. John of Rila.

But the famous Russian academician Dmitry Likhachev (1906-1999), whose serious studies affect also old Bulgarian literature and art, including acts of Cyril and Methodius, Tarnovo literary school and its influence on Russian literature, what he called “second South Slavic influence” understood how things work. And so he wrote the following: “We in Russia feel very great gratitude to Bulgaria for its literary language, for the Russian literature and for those wonderful ideas in Simeonovo century was proclaimed — the idea of obsequiousness… Church Slavonic, moved to Russia from Bulgaria, not only through books, but also verbally through worship, it became in Russia a kind of indicator of spiritual value. Bulgaria gave the Eastern Slavs the highest layer of the language, “the pole of spirituality”, an extremely enriched our language, which gave our language the moral strength, the ability to elevate the thoughts, concepts, ideas, emotions.”

The Bulgarian alphabet, created in Pereslavl disciples of Cyril and Methodius at the court of Tsar Boris — Michael I the Baptist Church, today used as the official alphabet in 12 countries in Europe and Asia — from Serbia to Kazakhstan, and Mongolia.

Academician Likhachev acknowledged that of those who do not want to admit it, many Russian and not only Russian historians: “You (the Bulgarians) are the oldest of the existing culture, not only in Europe but in the world. The past is swallowed up in antiquity, ancient Rome, Greece, etc., but Bulgaria remains its largest splinter. And this is why we must preserve it to today’s Bulgaria was not just the last shard of the past, but was the first fragment of the future — first culture that will enter the third Millennium and carry culture into the future…”

Baptism and the Christianization of Russia occurred in 988, after 120 years after the baptism of Bulgaria under Boris-Michael (863г.), when the brothers Cyril and Methodius has long been dead. At the same time the alphabet was transferred to the Kievan Rus (the first Russian state), occurred in the Russian edition of our, old Bulgarian language and Bulgarian literature, which is based on the entire literature of the Eastern Slavs, accepted our literature, including the Slavs of the Romanian principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia.

It is clear that the major Russian scientists, specialists in medieval history and literature know it well, therefore retaining the historical sources, some of which are in Kiev and Moscow. That is what is written by Professor Sergey Nikitin in one of his articles: “Russian people will never forget their alphabet and Slavic literature, he has received from Bulgaria at a time when Russian literature and writing was not yet.”

Home Cyrillic of the complex “old Pliska” a truly unique historical and cultural complex not only for Bulgaria but for the whole world.

Interestingly, the house of the Cyrillic letters and their history was created by the Ministry of culture or some other government institution, and an Armenian — Karen Aleksanyan — who settled in Bulgaria and learned a lot about our history. In 2005, at his own expense he bought about eight thousand square meters of land and hired builders, architects, artists from Bulgaria and other countries, which carried his noble idea. Thanks to the many efforts and the inspiration of the empty fields on the outskirts of Pliska (city in Bulgaria, had in drevnerusskoi transcriptome the same transliteration as Russian Pskov, where was Princess Olga — approx. red,)turned into an extraordinary place, inviting modern people of all nationalities, who used and uses the Cyrillic alphabet to venerate its founders and creators, to perpetuate it.

Yes, but what about politicians? They are always brutally raped two muses Themis and Clio…

“We in Russia believe that the Cyrillic alphabet came from Byzantium,” once said in Bulgaria the world-famous chess player and the Deputy Anatoly Karpov. “Two of the great ascetic of faith and science did seem to be excessive: they created the Russian alphabet” — said Metropolitan Juvenal at the opening of the festival in Kolomna, on the 24th of may, celebrated as the Day of Slavic writing and culture.

I will finish words of academician Dmitry Likhachev: “the Flesh of the Bulgarian state by Asparuh created, his spirit — Cyril and Methodius. And foreign invaders could not defeat the power of the spirit, because the Bulgarian people in close order was the language, script, literature.”
