Ukraine goes to the second stage of release from quarantine
The Cabinet of Ministers extended the effect of quarantine until 22 June, but eased a number of restrictions. The corresponding decision was accepted today by the government.
“It is proposed to establish 22 may to 22 June on the territory of Ukraine the quarantine based on epidemiological situation in the regions is the so – called adaptive quarantine, which we talked about,” said health Minister Maxim Stepanov.
According to him, together with the extension of quarantine, has drawn attention to certain criteria of the epidemiological situation in the regions, to determine whether it is possible to mitigate the quarantine in one area or another.
“Incidence is the average number of cases COVID-19 over the past seven days 100 thousand people of the population… shall be less than 12 people per 100 thousand inhabitants. Utilization of beds in hospitals for coronavirus patients must be less than 50%. As well as the number of tests by PCR and enzyme immunoassay – should be more than 12 per 100 thousand inhabitants during the last seven days,” – said the Minister.
